According to the court’s findings, Holder was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment in May 2026. In an interview with the BBC following the conclusion of the trial, the survivor said she had been working for a business launched by Holder at the time of the offence and had to return to work just days later, where he reportedly behaved as though nothing had happened. She also described feeling afraid to report the offence initially because of the power imbalance in the workplace and concerns that doing so could affect her career.
