According to the complaint, he allegedly lured the girl to his house under the pretext of providing spiritual treatment. Police said the case came to light after the girl disclosed the alleged abuse to relatives. The accused and the girl&#8217;s mother had reportedly been missing for more than two months before police traced them near the Kerala\u2013Karnataka border. The accused was remanded to judicial custody. The child\u2019s identity is withheld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Action to Be Taken:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Families should report suspected child abuse to the police or child-protection authorities.
