The couple and their four children had been living in the area for the past four months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police, the couple belonging to Vattiyoorkavu had frequent fights and Hasina had approached the police a day before the incident with complaint against her husband but later returned home. On Wednesday, Suresh slit her throat following a domestic dispute and fled the scene in a car.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The couple&#8217;s eldest daughter alerted the police after the incident. Officers rushed to the scene and took Suresh into custody.
