14-year-old girl found dead — Ernakulam 

Ernakulam: A 14-year-old student from Kunnukara, Nedumbassery, Ernakulam, was found dead at her home. Asianet News reported that police were investigating the circumstances and that their preliminary assessment linked the incident to distress following restrictions on her mobile-phone use. The police investigation was ongoing.
