Army Soldier Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife During Temple Visit

Bidar, Karnataka: An Army soldier has been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of his 26-year-old wife. According to police, the accused had taken his wife on a temple visit after returning home on leave. Authorities stated that after visiting several temples, he allegedly stopped the car at a secluded location and attacked her with an iron rod. The victim was admitted to a hospital with serious injuries but died four days later. Police further stated that the accused allegedly attempted to portray the incident as a road accident. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
