Eleven Suspects Arrested, Three Minors Detained in Connection with Nashik Sexual Assault Allegations

Nashik,Maharashtra: A woman was reportedly subjected to a gang rape by a group of individuals while she was sitting with a friend in a forest area under the Fatehpur police station limits in Jamner Taluk, Jalgaon. According to the police, the incident occurred on June 2, and the suspects belonged to a nearby village located about eight kilometers from the victim’s village. Two individuals from the group allegedly threatened the woman and assaulted her, while the remaining individuals reportedly recorded the incident on their mobile phones. On June 25, one of the accused individuals allegedly circulated the video on social media. Upon learning about the online distribution of the video, the woman approached the Fatehpur police on Monday to file a formal complaint, leading to the arrest of 11 individuals and the detention of three minors.
