Lahore, Pakistan:Pakistani police have arrested four men in connection with the alleged kidnapping and gang rape of two foreign women. According to police, the victims, who are citizens of the Netherlands and Venezuela, were allegedly abducted, sexually assaulted, and held captive while the accused demanded a ransom. Authorities stated that one of the arrested suspects is a relative of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar. A court in Lahore has remanded the accused to police custody as investigators continue to examine the allegations and search for another suspect who remains absconding. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
Action to Be Taken
