Husband and Girlfriend Arrested for Allegedly Murdering Newlywed Woman

Gurugram, Haryana: Police have arrested a 25-year-old man and his girlfriend in connection with the alleged murder of his 22-year-old wife. According to police, the woman, who had married the accused in February 2026, was reported missing by her family in May after they were unable to contact her. Authorities stated that her body was later recovered from a room in Manesar, and the investigation revealed that the husband had allegedly conspired with his girlfriend to kill her. Police further alleged that the accused used an illegally procured firearm and fled to Nepal after the incident before returning to India, where they were arrested. Both accused have been remanded to police custody, and the investigation is ongoing. The allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
