According to law enforcement authorities, the initial instance of harassment occurred roughly two years prior when the minor was traveling on a bicycle. The complaint notes that the individual continued to target the child with inappropriate statements and gestures over an extended period. The situation came to light after the suspect recently approached the minor regarding past incidents, prompting her to inform her family. Following a formal complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, police booked the suspect under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The suspect was produced in court and subsequently remanded to judicial custody as active legal investigations proceed.
