Germany: Berlin Man Faces Multiple Rape Charges

Germany: Berlin prosecutors charged a 68-year-old man with 22 counts of rape involving 14 women. Authorities allege that he drugged victims before sexually assaulting them and recording the assaults. Investigators believe there may be additional unidentified victims, and the investigation is ongoing.  

During the investigation, police reportedly recovered a large amount of digital evidence, including videos and electronic devices, which are being examined to identify all victims and establish the full extent of the alleged offences. Investigators believe there may be additional women who have not yet been identified and have appealed for anyone with relevant information to come forward. The accused has been formally charged, and the case is expected to proceed through the German judicial system, where the allegations will be examined in court.
