Germany: One Woman Killed and Several Injured in Berlin Pride Van Attack 

Berlin, Germany: A woman was killed and at least 16 other people were injured after a van drove into crowds near the Berlin Pride celebrations. German authorities identified a 21-year-old suspect and described the incident as a suspected Islamist terrorist attack. Police launched a large-scale manhunt and are continuing to investigate the motive and circumstances of the attack. The incident has raised concerns about public safety and the protection of vulnerable groups, including women, at public events.
