A 25-year-old woman found dead on the coastal railway tracks

Alappuzha: A 25-year-old woman identified as Neha Krishnan, a native of Olavanna in Kozhikode, was found dead on the coastal railway tracks between Aroor and Thuravoor in Alappuzha district. Her body was discovered near a curve south of the Ezhupunna Sreenarayanapuram level crossing. Preliminary findings by law enforcement indicate that she died after accidentally falling from a moving train. 

Action to be Taken 

Following the death of 25-year-old Neha Krishnan after falling from a moving train near the Ezhupunna Sreenarayanapuram level crossing, the Aroor Police must complete a thorough investigation to confirm the circumstances of the fall. Given that another passenger suffered severe injuries after falling at the exact same curved section just days prior, Southern Railway and local civil authorities need to urgently inspect the track section between Aroor and Thuravoor for potential safety hazards, install prominent warning signage, and upgrade train door-locking safety protocols to prevent future accidents.
