Young Women’s Morphed Nude Images Shared Online; Accused Booked

Kasaragod: A 25-year-old man was booked for allegedly morphing photographs of young women into nude images using digital editing tools and sharing them through Telegram groups without their consent. The manipulated images caused distress to the victims and raised serious concerns about online abuse and violations of privacy. Based on complaints received, the police registered a case under relevant cybercrime laws and initiated an investigation to identify the full extent of the offence and gather digital evidence.

The police should conduct a thorough digital forensic investigation, preserve electronic evidence, identify all platforms where the images were shared, and take steps to remove the content promptly.
