Woman allegedly sexually assaulted and attacked in France 

France: A 60-year-old woman was reportedly attacked in the early hours near Nice railway station. According to reports, a 49-year-old British man was arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault and violent attack. A neighbour reportedly heard the woman’s cries and intervened, helping to stop the attack. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, while the investigation remains ongoing. The identities of those involved have not been released.
