Woman Allegedly Assaulted and Dragged Toward Train Toilet; Assam Native Arrested
Malappuram:A man identified as Roy Raju, 30, was arrested by the Railway Protection Force after a woman travelling on a train allegedly reported that he grabbed her and attempted to drag her toward the toilet. The incident reportedly occurred after the train passed Shoranur railway station on Wednesday afternoon.
Action to Be Taken
Women travelling alone should stay alert in railway coaches, inform railway staff or the RPF immediately if they face harassment or assault, and move toward populated or monitored areas when possible.
