British man admits long-term sexual abuse of wife

United Kingdom: A man in his 60s pleaded guilty in a Manchester court to repeatedly drugging and sexually abusing his wife over a period of more than 20 years. He admitted multiple rape and sexual-assault charges involving the woman. Prosecutors said the abuse occurred between 2004 and 2025, including incidents in which she was unconscious. Twelve other men have also been charged in connection with alleged sexual offences against the same woman; they have denied the allegations.
