62-year-old man arrested over alleged sexual assault attempt on minor

Pathanamthitta: Pandalam police arrested a 62-year-old man after a 13-year-old girl allegedly reported that he behaved inappropriately and attempted to sexually assault her at a shop. The girl later disclosed the incident to her teachers, who informed child-protection authorities. Police recorded her statement, arrested the accused and the court remanded him in custody.
