Woman Attacked While Walking to Temple in Varkala

Thiruvananthapuram: A woman who was travelling on foot toward Kapil Shiva Temple for morning worship was allegedly attacked by an unidentified person near Kapil Junction. The attacker reportedly arrived on a scooter and used a weapon before fleeing toward Paravur after the woman raised an alarm. She received treatment at Paripally Medical College Hospital.

Action to Be Taken

People travelling alone should seek help immediately after an attack and report the incident to police, particularly when the attacker remains unidentified.
