Man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting and extorting trans woman
Malappuram: Police arrested a man from Tanur in a case alleging sexual assault of a trans woman he had met through social media. Police also alleged that private images were recorded and used to extort money from her. The investigation is continuing.

Survivors of sexual violence and digital blackmail should preserve messages, images and payment records and approach police rather than complying with further demands.
