Police suspect wider conspiracy in Kalamassery gang-rape case

Ernakulam: Police investigating the alleged gang rape of a woman in Kalamassery said they suspect a planned conspiracy. Two men have been arrested, while police are searching for other suspects. Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the spa where the woman was allegedly taken after responding to a job advertisement.

Women responding to online job advertisements should verify the employer and interview location beforehand. Alleged sexual violence should be reported immediately, with survivors provided medical, legal and psychological support.
