Ernakulam :A court in Koothattukulam sentenced a man to 55 years of rigorous imprisonment in a case involving the repeated sexual assault of a minor girl. The case involved allegations that the accused had approached the girl through social media and repeatedly sexually assaulted her at her home. The sentence was reported on 13 October 2026. The child’s identity is withheld to protect her privacy.
