Man Sentenced to 13 Years in Prison in POCSO Case
Thiruvananthapuram:A special POCSO court in Kattakkada sentenced a 27-year-old man to 13 years of rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl. The report stated that the incident occurred in September 2022 and that the girl’s parents had filed a complaint with the police. The court also imposed a fine of ₹50,000 and directed that the amount be paid to the survivor. The child’s identity is withheld.
