Ernakulam: An autorickshaw driver has been arrested in connection with the alleged attempted sexual assault of a 28-year-old private company employee. According to police, the woman had hired the autorickshaw after finishing work when the accused allegedly attempted to sexually assault her during the journey. Following the woman’s complaint, Panangad Police registered a case and arrested the 34-year-old accused. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
