Bengaluru Woman Reports Sexual Harassment During WhatsApp Video Calls 

Bengaluru: Bengaluru police are investigating complaints from women who reported receiving obscene WhatsApp video calls and messages from unknown men. FIRs were registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and police are investigating the identities of the accused.  

Action to be taken: 
Police should identify and take legal action against the accused, preserve the relevant digital evidence, and ensure that the affected women receive appropriate support. Authorities should also strengthen awareness about online harassment and encourage victims to report such incidents promptly.
