New Delhi: The Delhi High Court overturned a trial court’s acquittal of a man on a rape charge in a case involving a child who was four years old at the time of the offence. The High Court said a child of that age cannot be expected to describe a sexual assault using precise legal or medical terminology and noted that the trial court had failed to properly consider medical and forensic evidence.
