Family Alleges Months of Abuse Before Kannur Woman’s Death

Kannur: The family of a 20-year-old woman who died by suicide on July 28 alleged that she had faced months of physical abuse from her husband. According to the report, police issued a lookout notice for the husband after he allegedly left for Dubai a day after her death. Police were working to secure his return to Kerala as the investigation continued. The allegations were made by the woman’s family and had not been established by a court.
