Thiruvananthapuram: A 30-year-old man was arrested by Kottiyam police after his wife alleged that he had secretly recorded intimate videos of her and sold or uploaded them to pornographic websites without her consent. The woman also alleged that he installed hidden cameras and assaulted her after she confronted him. Police also registered a POCSO case after allegations involving their minor daughter came to light. The accused was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.

Victims of non-consensual intimate-image sharing should preserve evidence, report the content to the police and relevant platforms, and seek legal assistance to request removal of the material and protection from further abuse.
