Indian-Origin Metropolitan Police Officer Charged With Attempted Rape and Sexual Assault
London, United Kingdom:An Indian-origin officer serving with London’s Metropolitan Police was charged with attempted rape, sexual assault and intentional strangulation in connection with alleged offences against a woman earlier in 2026. The officer was due to appear before a London court. The charges are allegations and do not establish guilt.
