Kannur: A madrassa teacher was arrested by Kerala Police for allegedly sexually abusing a minor student repeatedly over a period of two years. Police said the accused also allegedly threatened the student to prevent the abuse from being disclosed. He was produced before the Thalassery POCSO Court, which remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days.
Action to Be Taken
Any suspected sexual abuse of a child should be reported immediately to the police or child-protection authorities. The child’s identity and personal details must be protected.
