Main Accused Arrested in Kochi Robbery Involving Disrobing of Women
Ernakulam: Police arrested the alleged main planner of the September 17 robbery in Palarivattom in which a gang held migrant workers at knifepoint, robbed them and allegedly forcibly disrobed three women while searching for valuables. The newly reported arrest concerns the alleged mastermind, while the investigation into the remaining accused and the recovery of property is continuing.
Action to Be Taken
Survivors of robbery and sexual humiliation should receive protection and support, while police should preserve CCTV, digital and forensic evidence and identify all those involved.
