Man Arrested in Malappuram Minor Sexual-Abuse Case

Pathanamthitta: Perinad police arrested a 51-year-old man in a case concerning the alleged sexual abuse of a schoolgirl in Malayalappuzha. According to the report, the alleged abuse occurred in 2021, and the arrest was made as an additional arrest in the case. Police were also attempting to bring the girl’s father, who had reportedly left the country, back to India.

Action to Be Taken
Any suspected child sexual abuse should be reported to police or child-protection authorities without delay. The child’s identity must be kept confidential.
