Man jailed for attempted rape and sexual assault of woman in the United Kingdom
United Kingdom: A 28-year-old man was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison after admitting to attempting to rape and sexually assault a woman in Southport. The offences took place in the communal area of a residential building in June 2025. He was arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport the following day while attempting to leave the country.
