Manju Warrier moves court over alleged defamatory online content

Ernakulam: Actor Manju Warrier approached the Ernakulam Munsiff Court seeking legal protection against allegedly defamatory and derogatory posts and statements concerning her. The court issued an interim order restricting filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan from publishing or circulating allegedly defamatory content about her through Meta platforms. The court also issued notice to Meta regarding her request to remove existing content. The respondents have been given time to respond to the case.
