NCW Seeks Immediate Action in Alleged Rape of 16-Year-Old Athlete
Punjab: The National Commission for Women sought the immediate tracing and arrest of a foreign coach accused of raping a 16-year-old national-level cyclist at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala. The commission also called for preservation of digital and forensic evidence and requested that the survivor receive security, medical assistance, legal aid and psychological support.

Investigators should preserve digital and forensic evidence while ensuring the survivor’s safety, confidentiality and access to legal and psychological support.
