Nursing Officer Arrested in Kollam Over Alleged Sexual Assault of 16-Year-Old Girl
Kollam: Kollam East Police arrested a nursing officer at the ESI Hospital after a 16-year-old girl who had come to the hospital as a patient’s bystander complained of sexual assault inside a lift. The report says the alleged incident occurred on September 8, and the accused was taken into custody from the hospital. A case was registered under the POCSO Act.
Action to Be Taken
Any suspected sexual abuse of a minor should be reported immediately to police or child-protection authorities. The child’s identity and privacy must be protected.
