One-Month-Old Baby Girl Rescued After Alleged Kidnapping and Trafficking Attempt

Hyderabad, Telangana: Police have rescued a one-month-old baby girl and arrested five people in connection with an alleged kidnapping and child trafficking case. According to police, the infant was allegedly abducted while sleeping beside her mother near Lingampally Railway Station on 30 June. Authorities stated that the accused allegedly sold the baby for ₹1.5 lakh to a woman from Kolkata through intermediaries. Following an investigation involving CCTV footage and multiple police teams, the suspects were traced and arrested before the child could be taken out of Hyderabad. The baby was rescued safely and reunited with her mother. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
