Bihar: A woman was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men while she was returning home in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. According to police, the accused intercepted the victim, forcibly took her to a secluded location, and sexually assaulted her before fleeing. Following the survivor’s complaint, an FIR was registered, and police launched a search operation to arrest the accused. The survivor was sent for medical examination, and the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities should ensure the immediate arrest of all accused, conduct a speedy and impartial investigation, and prosecute the case through a fast-track court. The survivor should receive medical treatment, trauma counselling, legal aid, and protection throughout the investigation and trial.
