Woman Sexually Assaulted at Lodge After Being Promised a Spa Job; Survivor’s Statement Recorded

Ernakulam :A woman who was allegedly gang-raped at a lodge in Edappally after being promised a job at a spa had her statement recorded by a judicial magistrate at Ernakulam Government Medical College Hospital. According to the investigation details reported, the woman was allegedly lured back to the lodge on the pretext of being selected for the job and forced to consume alcohol and drugs before the assault. She reportedly escaped, and four people had been arrested in connection with the case. The investigation is ongoing.
