Women’s Safety Must Be Priority, Vijay Tells Officials in First Review Meeting

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has instructed senior officials that women’s safety will remain a non-negotiable priority during his administration. According to reports, he made the remarks during his first review meeting with IAS and IPS officers after assuming office. Officials were directed to strengthen law enforcement response mechanisms and ensure strict action in cases involving crimes against women. The meeting also focused on improving overall law and order management and coordination among departments.
